Second ASAP Master Trainers’ Training in Tallinn

 In News

The second group of 28 future Master Trainers from 7 countries (Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Slovenia) attended the ASAP-Training project training between 4th and 6th of February 2020 in Tallinn (Estonia). Our Estonian partners from Tervise Arengu Instituut (TAI) hosted the training.

The aim of the training was to raise the quality of prevention in Europe. The trainers were Gregor Burkhart from the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), Portugal, and Rachele Donini from Azienda Sanitaria Locale 2 (Savona), Italy (in the picture). Participants had learned about school-, family-, community-, media- and workplace-based prevention as well as about environmental prevention and advocacy for evidence-based prevention. The content of the training covered the whole European Prevention Curriculum (EUPC): http://www.emcdda.europa.eu/publications/manuals/european-prevention-curriculum_en.

The training has been very well accepted by trainees and as a good basis for national trainings, which will take place later this year in participating countries. For more information, please follow us on Facebook (@ASAPTrainingEU): https://www.facebook.com/ASAPTrainingEU/.
