10th EUSPR conference and Member’s meeting

This year’s EUSPR conference (16 – 18 September 2019) was held in the beautiful and historical city of Ghent. The theme »Looking over the wall – promoting multidisciplinary work in prevention« brought together variety of keynotes and special sessions with the focus on optimising cross-disciplinary working and improving the ways in which policy makers, practitioners and researches can work together.

Exchange of knowledge within other disciplines (marketing, communication, user-centered design) offers many possibilities for improving our prevention field.

Part of the team of ASAP training project was also actively involved during the event. In special themed session, presenters shared some findings about prevention systems, the training process, communication and dissemination strategy of the project and evaluation process. After the presentation, interesting discussion developed with the participants, which revealed the importance and interest in training in this field.
